Why did we choose the name Bacalaito for our store? It's quite a story, but we can sum it up in one word: craziness. We wanted a name that captured our culture and lifestyle while also being unique and amusing. Bacalaito refers to a popular and delicious fried codfish fritter in Puerto Rico, and since we are dog lovers, a dog for the logo seemed like the perfect choice.
Bacalaito Designs is a family-owned business dedicated to offering products that resonate with people, bring joy, and provide comfort.

Some fun facts about us::
- We sifted through over 100 names before settling on Bacalaito.
- Our previous Bacalaito "the dog" logo was 50 lbs lighter than our current one, but we absolutely adore our current design, which is cooler, funnier, and happier.
- The creative force behind Bacalaito Designs is a multitasking mom, devoted wife, dedicated full-time worker, and passionate follower of Jesus.
- We have a soft spot for funny sayings, so expect some humor in our products.
